Johnson was born in Cape Town, in 1951. In 1974, he
completed a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University
of Lethbridge, graduating Honours with Distinction.
He received his Bachelor of Laws from the University
of Western Cape in 1982, and was admitted to the South
African Bar in 1983. He handles legal matters within
Southern Africa jurisdiction.
Larry is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-Day Saints, and has served in several capacities
as a youth leader for the Church.
He volunteers his time coaching and has been a coach
in basketball for nine years, soccer for five years
and football for two years.
Larry and his wife Connie have three sons, Derrick,
Riaan and Nathan.
